The video Science Under Siege examines how politicized science is pushing us into a state of perpetual fear. Interviews with leading scientists are combined with on-site footage to produce a riveting reexamination of such toxic scares as Alar and dioxin.

The conclusion – subverting science in the name of "safety" is a dangerous praactice, one that is especially harmful to those in most need of society's protection.
